While in Paris we did some shopping.  A lovely little pet shop in the 16th Arrondisement was pleased to sell us this wee bundle of joy for only twice the cost of having a child.  Katie is a West Highland Terrier, born in Belgium, and we purchased her at 6 months of age.  It was something we had been discussing for ages - at least two days anyway - and she has been a delight to have around and a quick study in training.  Here are some photos of her better moments.

When we are underway Katie assumes some of the role of skipper, making sure the control panel doesn't get sabotaged and keeping a low profile.
This was pretty well our first view of Katie, the day we brought her home from the adoption agency.  Kinda hard not to be attracted to the little thing.
I think she was auditioning for a dog food ad.  She will have a very exciting life...and I'm sorry, big ears.
You can take the teacher out of the school, but you can't take the teaching out of the teacher.  This is in response to a well prepared lesson plan.
As a Newbie one is obliged to take on cutsie poses in order to guarantee capturing the hearts of the feeders.
After discovering the Loire river, which was really a lot of fun, one can be allowed a Really Bad Hair Day.
Sometimes Pop is doing his thing on this machine thing and he really should pay more attention to the troops.  Not only that, but if he ran around with me to get some exercise he wouldn't have that pot...I'm only thinking of his welfare.
